Aside from gravity and the effects of time, lack of sleep and tiredness can make all facial tissues sag, particularly the ones found around your eyes. Even if you apply all make ups you can get your hands on to your face, you cannot effectively conceal the eye bags and dark rings around your eyes. The eyes are the most demonstrative part of the face. They can easily reveal your feelings, thoughts and even health conditions; hence, eyes can greatly affect your first impression when meeting someone.
What causes eye sagging
Reasons such as genetics, lack of rest, improper diet, allergens and smoking cause eye bags. It is nice to know that we have a wide variety of options from beauty companies ready to sell us new and improved eye creamers to tame those dark rings. But before that, I’m a great fan of home remedies.
Cucumbers
In order to bring back the healthy and fresh appearance of your eyes, you should deal with the eye bags and dark rings first. Cucumber massage is the most commonly known. A slice of cucumber placed on top of each eye can do wonders in soothing the delicate nerves; hence, it eliminates such tiredness and puffiness of your eyes.

Teabags
Another effective method to refresh your eyes and eliminate the dark rings is using teabags. Tea has been known to possess nutrients that are good for tired eyes. You can refrigerate tea for a few minutes to give your eyes that revitalizing cool sensation.

Eye Pillows
Another common way to soothe your eyes is putting on eye pillows. These pillows can be safely cooled in a refrigerator or heated in warm water depending on your needs. They are mostly available in health spas and skin clinics or you can buy eye pillows in health stores or beauty shops. The eye pillows are popular because they are very simple to use. The gentle pressure applied on your eyes can help them firm up the eye bags. In addition to this benefit, the contents of eye pillows such as beads, seeds or therapeutic gel provide good scents and sensation that can quickly relieve tired eye muscles.

Stay Healthy
Sagging eye bags and dark rings can be caused by lack of certain nutrients like Vitamins A and E. These nutrients are responsible for keeping healthy and elastic skin; hence there is no dark rings and drooping flesh around your eyes. To look good, get enough rest, drink enough water, stop smoking, and avoid allergens that trigger nasal congestion like pet dander, pollen, house dust, and certain foods like milk and chocolate. Use an extra pillow or two to elevate your head while sleeping to prevent fluid build up. Reduce your salt intake and be wary of food and drinks that contain too much salt.
Other Tips
Potato slices placed over closed eyes for a few minutes can also help. Cotton balls dunked in cold milk help too. After squeezing the milk from the balls, let them rest on your closed swollen eyes for a few minutes. A cold compress will also do the same job. If you want quick effect, you can try facial machines as well. There are great facial and skin care machines available for you.
