Unfortunately, most people will not give up tanning, outdoors activities or go outside only with all their skin covered despite the risks involved. We love the sun.

How to Prevent Skin Cancer caused by Sun Damage

Sunlight can have a damaging effect on your skin, but you can prevent it. There are several ways you can protect your skin from sun damage such as premature aging, wrinkles, sun blotches and changes in the pigmentation.

Especially if you spend a lot of time exposed to sun light, like spending your days at the beach, running marathons or working outside you should heed the following advise.

• Sunscreen
  Always use a sunscreen, sun blocker or sun crème. Ask your pharmacist or dermatologist which UV protection your skin needs. A thumb rule is: the lighter the skin type, the higher the protection needed to prevent sun damage.

• Protect your skin with soy diet
  Enrich your diet and use skincare products that have soy components in them. Soy can smooth and moisturize the skin and also helps against sun blotches by evening the overall skin tone.

• Reduce Oxidative Stress
  The sun can damage the skin by causing so called oxidative stress through free radicals. This can lead to wrinkles and sagging skin. After exposing skin your  to sunlight you should use an after sun lotion or similar skincare product that contains the vitamins C and E. These vitamins counter oxidative stress and help the skin repair previous sun damage.

• Chemical Peels
  Skincare products that help the skin rejuvenate and regenerate itself by shedding its’ outer layer. The skin is noticeably smoother and softer after a peeling. However, you should not do a peeling after a long day in the sun as the skin is already stressed.

There are more invasive measures that can be taken in order to treat sun damage. These include non prescription and prescription medication and cosmetic treatments such as laser treatments as well as BoTox, collagen and fat injections. Personally, I am of the opinion that the less medication the better, no matter if it’s over the counter or not.

Enjoy the sun, but with care, and use natural, non-invasive ways to help your skin protect itself from sun damage. Prevention is always better than treatment.

But there is no cause to worry now- thanks to the galvanic facial treatment. I discovered it in a beauty salon and gave it a try- it actually worked wonders for me! The first change I noticed was a tighter skin.

This treatment actually worked, and I no longer have dark circles! To me, it’s a miracle.

My verdict? I’m more than happy with the results, and I’m planning to buy a home galvanic spa machine anytime soon.

This day spa has many benefits

I’m not a technology expert, but I have prepared a short list of benefits that I have noted after using galvanic treatment. Some benefits were observed by me, and some benefits were observed by my friends, so I have compiled a list of day spa benefits, and here it is:

Many people may ask how discipline can help me lose cellulite.  If you are disciplined enough, you would be able to exercise regularly and develop muscle which will allow you to lose the cellulite that you have on your thighs.

Cellulite cause

Cellulite comes when the excess fat from the skin cells is flushed out because it doesn’t have enough space within this skin itself.  If this happens, the excess fat will create folds in the skin which we call cellulite.

The most effective way to lose skin folds is to perform physical activity such as exercise.  As mentioned earlier, this will give you firmer muscles that can block the formation of cellulite in your body.  With no cellulite, there would be no hard time choosing the clothes to wear for your dinner date or for a party that you want to go to.

Get a pack of unflavored gelatin and heat it with orange and lemon juice. Juice from one orange and one lemon would be enough. Now let it cool down. Add the yolk of an egg.

Apply this solution on your neck and face. Spread an even and thin layer, and let it dry. Then rinse it with warm water, and use a soft towel to pat dry.

1. Make sure you cleanse your face before you begin
For this, you can use cleansing milk, and then you can even do a bit of scrubbing. There are many types of scrubs that you can use. You can get basic scrubbers. There are also some special scrubbers available in the market. These are made of natural products, and thus are better for your skin.

2. Now you can continue with your galvanized massage
While you massage your face, don’t raise the device. Keep massaging for the specific time period. Also, start from the center of the nose, and with sweeping strokes, massage till the lower eyelashes. Once this is over, you can use a damp towel to remove the extra lotion from your face.

3. After the galvanized massage, most people think that the process is over
It actually is, but you can give more substance to it, but going for steam therapy. This will help the process of smoothing out your wrinkles. This can be done for about 3 to 4 minutes. It will also help in the removal of dead skin cells.

4. If you have a few minutes to spare…
You can apply a special face cream after the steaming process. You can ignore this step, but if you do it, you will feel an instant glow. I, of course, always do it.

Though all these extra steps are not required, but they add an extra charm to the result of the galvanization process. So I would suggest that you should follow them. You will see greet resutls – trust me!

I began some research, and I found a fact- there isn’t any guaranteed method for permanent hair removal. Though there is electrolysis that is even approved by FDA and it the best method to get rid of hair for the longest time- maybe even permanently, but it does involve a lot of hassle.

Although the common belief says that electrolysis is permanent, but my research showed otherwise. Some studies have found that everybody does not gain permanent hair removal.

Claims about hair removal treatments

Yeah there are lots of treatments, machines and gadgets that promise fast, easy and even permanent hair removal. If a method is claiming permanent removal, then you should read the fine print. There are not just products, but also “professional” treatments that make false claims.

Laser hair removal

There are some laser removal centers that declare that you will never get unwanted hair again, but let me reiterate the previous fact again- there is no guaranteed method for permanent hair removal. Laser treatment does not work for everyone, and it is not permanent either.

Destroy your follicles yourself!

As told by The Mayo Clinic, laser process can reduce unwanted hair by about 40 to 80 percent. But don’t lose heart- there are always other methods of hair removal- threading, waxing, and tweezing etc. The good news is that if you repeatedly destroy your hair, chances are that the hair follicles would be destroyed, and they wouldn’t be able to produce hair.

With all this information, you can now decide on your own if “permanent” hair removal is something that would be the best decision for you or not.

If you really want to get these hair removal techniques, you must consult your dermatologist. There is a reason why even major celebrities do not go for this technique. These methods are either slow, or they are not as effective. So you might just want to stick to waxing for the time being- like me. But in case you do want to go for these methods, consult your dermatologist.

3. Vitamin B Complex

If you have a mild to medium case of rosacea, check your diet- are you taking sufficient amount of vitamin B daily? If not, then you can take supplements.

These were the 3 major natural treatments for rosacea, but there are others as well, like apple cider vinegar, aloe, red clover, chamomile, and rose hips etc.

It is best to try natural ingredients, since they don’t have side effects like the other treatments.
