There are dozens — maybe even hundreds — of different slimming gels out there. How do you find out which one’s the best for you? What are the slimming gel differences you’ll need to take note of? Let’s take a closer look at what slimming gels can really do for you.

What Slimming Gels Do

Slimming gels aim to do just that — to help you slim down, or at least give the appearance thereof. For the most part, slimming gels serve a purely cosmetic purpose — they make your body’s lumpy trouble spots look much smoother and slimmer. And many gels do a good job at it.

The big difference comes in exactly HOW these gels make you look slimmer. For instance, many slimming gels have diuretic properties — that is, they encourage the removal of trapped excess water in your trouble spots. Such slimming gels may include ingredients like green tea and caffeine.

Other slimming gels have ingredients that make your trouble spot feel hot. With the heat generated by ingredients such as hot chili peppers (not kidding), each application burns a little extra fat and may also encourage the release of trapped water through sweating.

Still other slimming gels are meant to be used as massage liniments. These slimming gels moisturize the skin and make even cellulite look smoother. The massaging action also encourages the removal of water and the burning of fat. Slimming gels like this are a favorite for hardworking individuals, who use them for their weekend massage rituals.

How To Correctly Use Slimming Gel

Of course, slimming gels won’t work on their own. They won’t magically make your fat stores disappear! You still need good, old-fashioned diet and exercise. As mentioned before, slimming gels are cosmetic solutions for the most part.

But that’s not to say slimming gels DON’T help your weight loss regimen. After all, when you look good, you’ll feel good, too. When you like what you see in the mirror, you’ll know how well your weight loss regimen is moving along. That alone can inspire you to work even harder to reach your weight loss goals.

(It’s a lot better than looking at the mirror, feeling discouraged, and quitting your regimen altogether!)

So go right ahead — feel free to look for a slimming gel that works for you. Remember, what works for others may not necessarily work for you. So you may need to go through a period of trial-and-error before you find a gel that works perfectly for you.

A Few Tips To Remember

Unfortunately, not all slimming gels are safe. You might, for instance, be allergic to certain ingredients that some slimming gels have. When trying out a new slimming gel, ask for a tester tube. Apply a small amount to the back of your hand, and see if anything bad happens after 24 hours. If everything turns out fine, then it’s safe to test a whole bottle or tube.

Also, make sure it fits your budget! Some slimming gels can be expensive, so be careful.

When I say sun damage I mean the negative impact too much unprotected exposure to sun light can have on the look, feel and health of our skin. This sun damage is caused by UV rays. Sun light consists of two different kinds of UV rays, UVA and UVB. UVB rays are the cause of sunburns. UVA rays however, are not only responsible for excessive skin aging, but can also lead to skin cancer.

We love the sun too much

Unfortunately, most people will not give up tanning, outdoors activities or go outside only with all their skin covered despite the risks involved. We love the sun.

How to Prevent Skin Cancer caused by Sun Damage

Sunlight can have a damaging effect on your skin, but you can prevent it. There are several ways you can protect your skin from sun damage such as premature aging, wrinkles, sun blotches and changes in the pigmentation.

Especially if you spend a lot of time exposed to sun light, like spending your days at the beach, running marathons or working outside you should heed the following advise.

Sunscreen
Always use a sunscreen, sun blocker or sun crème. Ask your pharmacist or dermatologist which UV protection your skin needs. A thumb rule is: the lighter the skin type, the higher the protection needed to prevent sun damage.

Protect your skin with soy diet
Enrich your diet and use skincare products that have soy components in them. Soy can smooth and moisturize the skin and also helps against sun blotches by evening the overall skin tone.

Reduce Oxidative Stress
The sun can damage the skin by causing so called oxidative stress through free radicals. This can lead to wrinkles and sagging skin. After exposing skin your to sunlight you should use an after sun lotion or similar skincare product that contains the vitamins C and E. These vitamins counter oxidative stress and help the skin repair previous sun damage.

Chemical Peels
Skincare products that help the skin rejuvenate and regenerate itself by shedding its’ outer layer. The skin is noticeably smoother and softer after a peeling. However, you should not do a peeling after a long day in the sun as the skin is already stressed.

There are more invasive measures that can be taken in order to treat sun damage. These include non prescription and prescription medication and cosmetic treatments such as laser treatments as well as BoTox, collagen and fat injections. Personally, I am of the opinion that the less medication the better, no matter if it’s over the counter or not.

Enjoy the sun, but with care, and use natural, non-invasive ways to help your skin protect itself from sun damage. Prevention is always better than treatment.

Since I have been yapping a lot about galvanization, and how it has affected me, I might as well give a few tips that I have acquired as I got galvanized and experienced great results. Here are a few tips to get galvanized perfectly:

1. Make sure you cleanse your face before you begin
For this, you can use cleansing milk, and then you can even do a bit of scrubbing. There are many types of scrubs that you can use. You can get basic scrubbers. There are also some special scrubbers available in the market. These are made of natural products, and thus are better for your skin.

2. Now you can continue with your galvanized massage
While you massage your face, don’t raise the device. Keep massaging for the specific time period. Also, start from the center of the nose, and with sweeping strokes, massage till the lower eyelashes. Once this is over, you can use a damp towel to remove the extra lotion from your face.

3. After the galvanized massage, most people think that the process is over
It actually is, but you can give more substance to it, but going for steam therapy. This will help the process of smoothing out your wrinkles. This can be done for about 3 to 4 minutes. It will also help in the removal of dead skin cells.

4. If you have a few minutes to spare…
You can apply a special face cream after the steaming process. You can ignore this step, but if you do it, you will feel an instant glow. I, of course, always do it.

Though all these extra steps are not required, but they add an extra charm to the result of the galvanization process. So I would suggest that you should follow them. You will see greet resutls – trust me!

.

Have you heard the powerful voice of an opera singer? Have you witnessed how she breaks a glass because she sings on extremely high notes? The same happens with the excess fats underneath your skin when they undergo ultrasound. But this method gives protection to the structures responsible for beauty and shape.

How Does The Ultrasound Facial Machine Work?

This device that uses high-intensity radio waves is definitely a great way to get rid of excess fats on your face. Underneath your facial skin, are delicate and sensitive structures loaded with intricate nerves as well as blood vessels.

I have used an ultrasound facial machine and found it to be very soothing. I won’t say I am the most beautiful woman on the planet, but I am a proud outcome of this product.

How important is an ultrasound facial machine? Below is a list of the features of the machine:

The gentleness it brings

The benefits it gives

The added help it offers

Ultrasound Is Gentle and Soft

Going through an ultrasound is not at all dangerous, in fact it is harmless. The effect brings gentleness on your face and its skin. Though ultrasound brings a little heat, but the skin and the tissues underneath are not affected by it. It successfully eliminates dead skin cells which often block pores. The good thing is- it does not cause damage to any living skin cells found on your skin.

The ultrasound facial machine uses very weak sound waves to massage the skin- at an astonishingly rate of a million times per second. This pulse is too weak to damage the protein content of your skin.

The Generous Benefits Of Ultrasound Facial Machine

When we think about skin tones, we never think about blue or green, but the reality is- the pigments on your skin turn blue and green when your healthy skin undergoes mechanical damage. This is where the advantages of an ultrasound facial machine come out.

Ultrasound allows the capillaries to open as they take away any damaged hemoglobin.

Ultrasound brings back your skin’s normal color.

Ultrasound provides a gentle effect on fat.

Additional Help From An Utrasound Facial Machine

Ultrasound assists in breaking up cellulite. Cellulite is present because of accumulated water, and not accumulated fat. Ultrasound allows the water to flow through the skin as it brings cellulite along. Cellulite won’t come back after continuous treatment. This is what makes this machine so attractive.

In order to have nice looking thin eyebrows, people use eyebrow cosmetic tools. However, almost every woman and man who pluck eyebrows has had at least one accident resulting in oddly shapes. Styling eyebrows perfectly can be challenging, but it can be easy by using shaping stencils when plucking and shaping the brows.

Styling Eyebrows

Eyebrow stencils are made of plastic that is soft enough to wrap around your brow bone but hard enough to hold its shape. When styling eyebrows, you place the stencil over your brows to protect hair you do not want to pluck.

Stencils can be cleaned with warm soapy water, followed by a quick rinse. And it is important that you clean your eyebrow stencil every time you use it to prevent transferring oils and bacteria back to your face.

Eyebrow Enhancer

You can buy 4-packs or 12-packs of eyebrow stencils in various shapes at affordable prices.
Straighten your hair: Kiyoseki 3 in

You have probably heard of tourmaline as a gemstone. The Three-in-One Hair Straightener uses tourmaline to manage the heat and ions in your hair.

The real advantage of the Kiyoseki Three-in-One hair straightener, however, is the power of the unique Japanese mineral kiyoseki. Combined with ceramics, it generates the right ions to seal the cuticle of your hair so it holds the style you want. The Kiyoseki Three-in-One heats up in no time and comes with a 10-foot swivel cord that never tangles so you can seal in the look you like with ease at your convenience at home.

Kiyoseki Reviews…

The manufacturer of the Three-in-One hair straightener warns that if you drop your Three-in-One it can overheat. Customer product reviews, however, include reports from customers who have dropped their Three-in-One “maybe 10 times” without serious damage to the device. While others noticed it overheating and fried their hair.

From Korea, the electric breast enhhancer is a new gadget to help women pump up their chest, without the use of foam, padding or surgical ehancement. This breast enhancer is a brassiere with two small compartments over each breast. The user slips a tiny electrical device into each of the two slots and then puts on the brassiere. Each of the electric stimulators is connected by a wire to a battery in a pouch held up with a belt placed around the waist.

Bigger Breasts?

The theory behind the electric breast enhhancer is that it sends out thousands of tiny bursts of electricity that will exercise breasts to grow larger. Women are told that they only need to use the device a few hours a day for a few weeks to get firmer, shapelier, larger breasts.

Enhancer Breast: Pushup Bra without the Pushup

Maxup is safe for regular use. It has no deleterious effects on a woman’s health to that a regular bra. Regular use of the Maxup is said to result in the development the muscles supporting the breast, which can be exercised by shocking.

Scientific studies haven’t proved yet that the Maxup may or may not be effective. The data is not conclusive. However, not just users of these devices but people who know them have said that users look better.

Finding a suitable hair removal method can be challenging. We can wax, thread, tweeze, hair removal creams, or laser hair removal. Some are painful, while others are irritating to the skin. There are now, new hair removal gadgets coming out (like EpiStick), that are advertised to be affordable, fast and easy to remove unwanted facial hair.

EpiStick: Safe Alternative for facial hair removal

The Epistick is a safe alternative. It’s a small-coiled spring you bend into a U. Place it on your skin and twist the two ends in opposite directions.

Tiny hairs get caught between the coils of the spring. The tightening of the Epistick pulls them out. Since you are pulling more than one hair at a time, it may hurt, but it only hurts for a moment and there is no risk of damaging the skin in ways that leave a permanent dark spot.

Painless hair removal

The longer the hair, the more it will hurt to remove it. If you have an exceptionally long hair to tweeze, then it is a good idea to trim it a little first.

The Epistick is a little unwieldy for use between the eyebrows, and there is no practical way a man would be able to use it inside his ears. For other areas of the face occupied by hair, however, the Epistick is imminently practical.

Easier Than Threading

The Epistick works on the same principle as threading, but covers a wider portion of facial skin at one time. It gets more hairs at once so it may be just a little more painful, but you’ll get the job done sooner and the pain will be over.

One word of caution, avoid using the Epistick, or any other facial hair removal system just before you are scheduled to go out. Any facial hair removal method can leave a little redness that can take a couple of hours, to a day to fade.

When women reach the age of 40, the look of beauty transitions from the “youthful” beauty, to “wise & gorgeous” beauty. Some women find this transition a challenge, and begin focusing on their flaws and not seeing it for the real beauty that it is.

Here are a few beauty gadgets that have been popularly said to help mature women, maintain the beauty they’ve always had, and never lost.

Diamond-Tipped Microdermabrasion System

Microdermabrasion is a skin peel you can do at home without visiting the aesthetician’s office. It’s a process removes a thin layer of skin to remove blemishes, age spots, enlarged pores, and scars. Diamond-tipped microdermabrasion is a simple system that works a little like a magic wand. Point the wand at the skin you want to treat, and a fine spray of high-energy particles exfoliates the top layer of dead skin.

For Women Over 40: Beauty Gadgets

The Misting Pore Cleanser

The misting pore cleanser is a wand that forces warm water into pores to remove oily sebum and bacteria. It won’t remove whiteheads, since they are capped with skin. But it will stop whiteheads and blackheads from forming in the first place. It allows you to counteract any effects of hot water exposure so you can stop acne without drying out your skin.

For Women Over 40: Beauty Gadgets

Phototherapy Hairbrush

You might be skeptical about a phototherapy hairbrush if you have never seen one before. As you “brush” your hair, the phototherapy hairbrush sends out a low-power laser light to the skin of your scalp. This light “jostles” the connections between hair follicles and the capillaries that provide them with blood. It stimulates growth of the hair follicles that will improve the appearance of your hair in 3 to 4 weeks.

For Women Over 40: Beauty Gadgets

Volume Enhancing Hair Straightener

Of course, there are times the look you want for your hair isn’t just about curls. It’s also out looking fuller and thicker. To get the same kind of result you get at your beauty shop, get the Volume Enhancing Hair Straightener. It separates each strand so your hair looks fuller, thicker, and more lustrous, without excessive heat and without bristles that can pull out your hair.

For Women Over 40: Beauty Gadgets

The problem with using hair tweezers is that they can hurt. It is easy to nick, scratch, or pull skin so that you don’t look better, you look worse! The battery-operated Emjoi AP-9T Tweeze Tweezer is a pain-free battery-operated tweezer that is easy to carry so you can keep it with you all the time.

Hair Tweeze with Emjoi

While regular plucking of hairs hurt, Emjoi advertises to only give a slight pinch, or tickle as it removes the hair. It’s pain-free, and most importantly, it does not nick or scratch the skin. The only downfall of this hair tweezer is that it might not be able to catch the fine hairs.

Hair Tweeze: Emjoi Tweeze Tweezer

Minimize appearance of red bumps on skin

Another problem with tweezing is that plucking hair sometimes leaves little red bumps behind. This problem isn’t due to the tweezer, no matter what the brand. It’s actually due to a hair getting bent backwards as it tries to emerge from the follicle. This happens when the skin is too tough to let the hair emerge naturally—not due to tweezing.

The first line of defense against tiny red bumps left behind on your skin after you tweeze is to gently exfoliate daily, and moisturize. A gentle exfoliation once a day (I.e. when you shower), helps stops the skin from growing tougher. Moisturizing your skin also helps to keep it more flexible, making it easier to hairs to come out straight. That way they are easier to remove with any kind of tweezer, especially the Emjoi Tweeze Tweezer.
